Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Sources, has appointed Alaa El-Din Abdel Fattah as the brand new Chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Firm (ECHEM). He’ll assume the place on January 1, 2026, succeeding Ibrahim Mekki.
