ContiTech — the commercial hose, belting, springs and anti-vibration unit of Germany-based automotive options manufacturing conglomerate Continental AG — has appointed Jim Hill as Vice President of Distribution for its Industrial Options Americas (IAM) enterprise space.
Hill beforehand served as IAM vice chairman of promoting and technique.
In his new position, Hill will lead distribution efforts throughout the area, specializing in constructing and enhancing relationships with prospects and distribution companions.
“Jim’s intensive business expertise and confirmed management make him well-suited to guide our distribution technique within the Americas,” stated Andreas Gerstenberger, ContiTech USA CEO and Head of Enterprise Space Industrial Options Americas. “His deep information of our markets and prospects shall be instrumental as we proceed to strengthen our distribution community.”
Earlier than becoming a member of ContiTech in 2015, Hill held administration positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber and later senior government roles at Goodyear Engineered Merchandise, which turned Veyance Applied sciences and is now a part of ContiTech.
In April of 2025, Continental introduced plans to spin off ContiTech. And in August, it introduced the sale of its ContiTech Authentic Tools Options (OESL) arm to U.S. personal fairness agency Regent because it shifted its focus extra to its industrial enterprise. Continental introduced the completion of that deal on Feb. 2.
