Tennessee-based Outdated Dominick Distillery has added a seven-year-old single barrel wheat whiskey to its portfolio.


The brand new straight wheat whiskey launch is the Memphis-based distillery’s third mashbill. The mashbill consists of 83% wheat, 12% corn, and 5% malted barley.
The liquid is aged in West Tennessee white oak barrels.
Lead distiller David Valentine mentioned: “That is the primary wheat whiskey to be distilled in Memphis since Prohibition. The seven-year age assertion displays our persistence and dedication to high quality.
“It’s noticeably completely different from our Bourbon and Tennessee whiskey. It’s softer, with notes of maple syrup, honey, hazelnut, and mocha.”
