Petrobras has elevated its oil, condensate, and pure fuel proved reserves to an estimated 11.4 billion barrels of oil equal (boe) as of Dec. 31, 2024, up from 11.4 billion boe in 2023, in accordance with US Securities and Alternate Fee rules (SEC).
The Brazilian state-run oil firm has reported that 85% of the estimated reserves include oil and condensate, whereas the remaining 15% are pure fuel.
Petrobras added 1.3 billion boe to its reserves final yr, successfully offsetting a manufacturing of 900 million boe, in accordance with Reuters,
The rise in whole reserves was primarily attributed to the continued improvement of its Atapu and Sepia fields, in addition to the robust efficiency of property together with the Buzios, Itapu, Tupi, and Sepia fields.
