MPL Manufacturers, proprietor of ready-to-drink (RTD) product Massive Sipz, has gained a beverage container patent problem in opposition to Sazerac-owned BuzzBallz.
US-based MPL Manufacturers, which operates as Patco Manufacturers, produces Massive Sipz, a canned cocktail model.
The corporate challenged its RTD competitor BuzzBallz claims to patents 11,738,904 and 11,932,441, which relate to the design of beverage containers.
After an inter partes overview and a post-grant overview, the US Patent and Trademark Workplace’s Patent Trial and Enchantment Board (PTAB) dominated all 26 claims of BuzzBallz to the patents to be invalid.
