The UK Warehousing Affiliation (UKWA) has made two senior appointments to the chief management staff.
Edwin Morgan and Sharon Mughal joined the Affiliation in January, Edwin as UKWA’s new Coverage & Public Affairs Director, and Sharon as Head of Membership.
Edwin has 15 years of expertise in coverage, public affairs and communications, together with a stint as Director of Coverage on the Institute of Administrators, the UK’s longest-running membership organisation for enterprise leaders. Edwin has labored with firms of all sizes, from giant companies to start-ups, representing their views to Ministers and senior civil servants underneath successive governments. As Coverage & Public Affairs Director Edwin can be guaranteeing members’ collective voice is heard by authorities on a variety of points, from decarbonising the economic system and growing workforce expertise, to planning reform and the case for driving down enterprise charges.
Sharon has spent the previous 16 years working in membership roles for commerce our bodies, together with the final 4 years within the temperature-controlled logistics sector, main membership groups and driving engagement.
