There’s a sultry secret swirling behind the bar at The Gold Room, tucked inside the long-lasting Lotte New York Palace…

In honor of Shirley Temple’s 97th birthday, Beverage Director Justin Lorenz has created a spirit-forward, grown-up twist on the nostalgic Soiled Shirley. It’s intentionally off-menu—a hidden gem for these within the know.

Lorenz reimagines the childhood basic with an elevated mix: Gray Goose Vodka as the bottom, layered with Crème de Framboise and Luxardo for wealthy, fruit-forward complexity. A splash of Moët Impérial Rosé Champagne brings a crisp, effervescent end, rounded out with a vibrant twist of lemon. Topped with Luxardo cherries and a whimsical contact of cherry cotton sweet, the result’s each subtle and a little bit cheeky.
Ask for this off-menu libation by title, settle into the plush environment, and toast to nostalgia. Some secrets and techniques are too good to maintain!
