DASH, a public transit company that serves the Metropolis of Alexandria, Virginia, has begun development on what it says would be the first en-route electrical bus chargers within the Washington DC metropolitan area.
En-route chargers allow electrical buses to get a partial cost at stops alongside their routes (along with in a single day charging at terminals). En-route charging helps to increase car vary, maximize fleet utilization and scale back service interruptions.
