Annual Award Will Acknowledge Unbiased Grocery Leaders Who Mentor, Empower, and Put together the Subsequent Era for Management
Washington, D.C. – The Nationwide Grocers Affiliation Basis (NGA Basis) right this moment introduced the creation of the Catalyst for Independence Award, a brand new annual award recognizing leaders who’ve made a unprecedented funding in growing and selling the following technology of unbiased grocery leaders.
The award shall be offered through the 2026 NGA Govt Convention, going down October 20-22 in Chicago, Illinois and the winner shall be acknowledged through the NGA Basis Fundraiser that takes place in conjunction with the occasion.
The Catalyst for Independence Award will honor a frontrunner whose mentorship, advocacy, and dedication to growing others has helped make sure the continued success and vibrant way forward for the unbiased grocery store trade. This new award ties into the NGA Basis’s strategic plan which views the Basis as a catalyst for a thriving unbiased grocery trade and has a core dedication of preserving independence for generations to return.
“An unbiased grocer’s best legacy is the leaders they construct,” stated Chelsea Matzen, NGA Basis Vice President. “Our trade’s future is dependent upon skilled leaders who deliberately share their information, present significant alternatives and empower the following technology to take duty. By the Catalyst for Independence Award, NGA will have a good time those that domesticate the way forward for the unbiased grocery trade.”
